There’s a house near me that has recently put up a flag that has “Thank you Elon Musk” written on it. Absolute morons.

There are a handful of kool-aid drinkers out there, and boy do I have fun talking to them when I visit my wife’s family.

It’s one thing if we were gonna slash government jobs and outsource to private entities for pennies on the dollar. We’re not doing that though. We’re snatching the government-issued parachutes off people’s backs and shouting, “The Free Market will save you!” just before we kick them out of the plane.

A Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll found that 39% of U.S. adults approve of Trump’s handling of the presidency; a CNN/SSRS poll found that 41% of Americans approve; and a NBC News Stay Tuned Poll found that 45% of U.S. adults approve.

      Source

Turns out, Trump is more popular than Musk, but all of these numbers are still amazingly high.

I wonder if there are any studies done on how “they” got Americans in a state where they can be mislead to these unbelievable levels despite having access to open internet and everything.

He would be the first person in modern history to cut the government if he succeeded, even Reagan didn’t despite the rhetoric. I think Clinton had the end of the Soviets which I am not counting.

Though if you asked these people if they felt they should have higher taxes to pay for it, due to aging demographics and higher borrowing rates, they would say no as well. So what do you do?

What Republicans are doing to the government. They’ve always wanted to do this, Elon is just their fall guy.
