  • Tbf, sometimes I’m right there with em, I’m not above drunk ordering some dominos, or on the rare occasion I go to a mall I may hit the Sbarro (but the fake Chinese food wins every time, let’s be real), but it’s literally the same thing just more fresh and made to better specs! It’s not even “real tacos V taco bell,” it’s such a close approximation of the “real” thing but lacking soul, whereas taco bell is so far from real tacos that it’d be more understandable to prefer the fake version. Like even Olive Garden V real italian I get, because it’s americanized enough, but Sbarro is not far enough removed from real pizza as to necessitate this phenomenon.

I could understand getting Sbarro in Chicago, for those averse to deep dish, because it’s a whole different style. I could understand some Chicago chain in NYC, for those who want deep dish. I could even understand Jets “detroit” style, because that’s different too, but Sbarro in NYC is literally just “worse and more expensive version of the same thing you could have got in 20 different shops on your way here.”

  • Well, since there is an apostrophe we can assume that it’s either a contraction or possessive. Being that I’m unaware of the contraction I’m leaning towards possessive, so that means whatever UFOs are belongs to someone or some group named “B.” To my knowledge, the organizations that widely go by B are The Boston Bruins hockey team, and The Bloods, a street/prison gang originating in Los Angeles California. Idk what a hockey team will realistically do with UFO tech in a game where flying isn’t involved, so my best guess as to the meaning is that the Bloods have really leveled up and the Crips should be worried.

  • I mean, as someone who was once 9 (and I’m not lacking but I’m not that gifted either), still idk about this. They used skateboard bearings, like bones reds but cheaper (if you wanna make that shit fly, throw some swiss ceramics in there). I never fidget spun because I’m old but I skated so I recognized them instantly. Maybe if the bearing was popped out, but no way anyone fits in a fidget spinner with the bearing in.

That axle hole is 8mm, the external diameter is still only 22mm, but maybe, if the wiener in question can squish down to roughly 23mm. Still hard to believe. Reds pictured for reference.

  • I expect it won’t be straightforward to view the data as well, it’s not just gonna be a folder full of jpegs.

    Source?

Tbf, I (and I’m a random third guy not the guy to which you’re replying, for clarity’s sake), also doubt it’ll be a folder of jpegs…but I think it’ll be fairly trivial to exploit whatever it is, and it’ll take way too much storage (storage cheap now, whatever, I know I’m old but I don’t use cloud and I’ve got other shit to spend money on than HDDs or SSDs, which I do also need as a pirate/data hoarder and don’t want to waste space on).

I don’t understand what use case you can have by asking Microsoft what porn you were watching at 2 am of February 19th.

Well you see I have my browser set to delete history on exit because of security so this would override that and keep the history…that I…deleted… Wait…

Lmao idfk why people would possibly want this either.

  • Running a framework 16 with FedoraKDE and before that a 4gb ram 2015 toshiba satellite (in 2024) running Fedora (regular Gnome) and haven’t had one of these issues. Most issues I have had were caused by me, every now and again I run into a regular old bug in something and half the time that gets fixed pretty quick.

I wish I could help, but we just have opposite experiences unfortunately. That said, because of this I don’t think it’s “linux,” or I’d likely have at least similar experiences.

OH for a while I did have a bug where VLC would stutter playing video and nobody had a fix, so I uninstalled/reinstalled VLC and it works now. Idk, I’ve had shit like that happen on windows too though, it’s basically the software version of power cycling hardware when it acts up.
