Do you think that all TV prior to streaming services was just a bunch of soap operas?

This may be a surprise, but TV shows with plots that span episodes and seasons have been around about as long as TV shows have been. Mad Men and Breaking Bad are two shows that had weekly episode releases, were critically acclaimed, and aren’t soap operas. How about The Sopranos, Star Trek, or Doctor Who? I’d argue there are a lot of shows that were released as full seasons that are more boring than some if not all of the five shows I listed. So I do think there actually is something more boring than old TV.

All that said, full season drops are better than weekly releases for me in most cases, but in general, it doesn’t bother me either way.

While I agree, I’m guessing most of these properties will be purchased by a company like Black Rock or as additional houses for US citizens, since I’m guessing most properties are vacation destinations.

You have to get older, but you don’t have to grow up. Do the fun shit in life that hurts nobody. This place hasn’t been so that great over the last decade, so you got to find joys in this life.

I’m mid thirties and when the opportunity presents itself, I’ll look a fool for my own and other’s entertainment. Have a laugh, enjoy yourself, don’t negatively affect others with your fun, and don’t worry about what other people think of you.

Not shilling for Dyson, but I’ve had two over the past 10 years, and we only sold the first one because we wanted to get some money for it before it maybe stopped working, and we bought a new one on Black Friday. Nothing ever broke, maintenance is easy, the ball really is easy to steer, and they are effective. My only gripe is that with our carpet pile, the suction is too much and I had to modify a little to make it run better. I don’t know if it’s a design flaw, because my carpet isn’t that thick, but I was able to find forum posts with people having the same issue. It could also just be a, we got the wrong model, situation.

My next vacuum, hopefully years down the road, will be a Miele. I just need to start setting cash to the side to it hurts less when I need to do it.

I disagree that they’ve all done it under political duress. I think many of these companies have used the political environment to be shitty, and drop something they didn’t want to support.

I think it’s just like Republicans over the past 12+ years. Once Trump came along and normalized hate speech, it’s empowered other wastes-of-oxygen to do the same. I think you’re right that he’s collapsing on purpose, but I think it’s because it’s what’s best for Russia and it’s profitable for the wealthy long term, being able to buy back into the crashed market. But also the control thing too. Just a bunch of shitty things.

Which isn’t defensible, so go after them. It worked in Nuremberg. The big thing is the charges need to come at a state level so they can’t be pardoned. Although, it’s still an inconvenience to make them get pardoned every time, so if the charges have to be federal, so be it.
