THE FINALS: Season 4 Power Shift - #45 Worldwide
In truth, he missed the bowl but still wants that praise, anyway.
It’s not even strictly a Jewish thing, as much as it is just an American thing at this point. My parents were only mildly Christian and got me circumcised at the recommendation of the doctor. They didn’t really think much about it because being circumcised is just “the norm”. My dad is circumcised, and my mom said she wanted to make sure I looked like my father (why she expected me to be catching so many glances of dad-dong in life, I’ll never know).
That said, whether or not it should be, a circumcision is still a very routine procedure, so it’s kinda astounding that they botched it so badly. Hopefully the kid makes it without any lasting damage.
but isn’t the entire emulation community essentially “built on lies and copyright infringement”?
No way, it’s totally for “archival purposes”.
I really don’t think it was that secret. Every modern Ubisoft game I’ve played has had multiple unskippable TOS checkboxes that you had to agree to before you can even pass the title screen, which state in no uncertain terms that they’re going to datamine the shit out of your entire play session.
It is still nice to see this stuff being challenged, though, even though I’m doubtful that it’ll bring about any meaningful change.
The fact that Patel feels the need to blur out the faces of the arresting officers should tell you exactly how confident they are in making the arrest to begin with. They’re scared. As they should be.
What?
When’s the last time a school shooter (that made it to trial, obviously), got slapped with terrorism charges
When’s the last time a school shooting fit the required legal definition for terrorism? They’re completely different scenarios with different motives, you may as well be asking “When’s the last time the Hamburglar was charged with terrorism?”
What part of what I said was boot licking? Or are you just as braindead as the people that do interviews for CNN and just use that phrase for anything you don’t understand?
Ugh, I hate that they put the stupidest arguments front and center in stories like this.
“They do not put this same effort behind, say, school shooters or people who shoot up concerts.”
Yeah no shit, because mass shooters generally don’t survive their attacks. The similarities between a mass shooting and the shooting of one person are few and far between - the motive, execution, and follow-up investigations are wildly different in each scenario.
I get wanting to support Luigi, but disingenuous comparisons like that aren’t doing him any favors.
I guess “senior” doesn’t mean anything anymore.
This will go as well as the asshats who trademarked Taco Tuesday.
Would be a shame if every DHS employee got doxxed, tho, wouldn’t it?
I think the tariffs might actually have one niche benefit of mitigating scalping. It’s going to be even more expensive for scalpers to get their hands on an actual product now, and people are already struggling to justify the increased retail costs, as it is. I’d have to imagine it’ll be much harder for scalpers to find a buyer these days, as anybody who can afford scalpers’ fees plus tariffs likely wouldn’t have any issue getting their hands on one, to begin with.
I know the story you’re referring to, that’s something different. That was a cloud-based storage scanning, this appears to be running entirely locally on the user’s device.
Imo, it’s a better solution, but still not perfect, and not immune to abuse.
Yes, it’s called The White House.
On one hand, this is a huge grey zone in terms of privacy. But on the other hand, it’s also a huge win for anybody who has had to endure unsolicited dick pics. I used to work with a woman who had a stalker that would send her “tribute” photos from spoofed numbers to appear as people in her contact list; this feature wouldn’t have completely blocked the messages, but would have at least mitigated some of the trauma she went through.
If there’s nothing wrong with paying out millions of dollars for votes, then there wouldn’t be anything wrong with paying for protests, either. Have your cake, and shut the fuck up while we force feed it to you, too.
I read through this a few times, and I’m still not sure how exactly this is supposed to work. The QR phishing part makes sense, but is the gist that they just sent out random crap to random people, in hopes that a few of them will leave a positive review somewhere?
