    Depends on their height. But a 14 year old having a 50% increase in weight in a short period of time would be something that you would check with a doctor on. If she is average height for a woman in China (about 160cm) then it puts her at the upper limit of normal BMI. But at 14, that puts her at risk of obesity as an adult.

    Things are always a bit more gray if you don’t have all the details.
