Not everyone will start using it just because the price is right, it is a subscription. Also, not everyone wants to stream and forget. There will likely always be seeders of public torrents available especially for popular or mainstream content. You can always revive a dead torrent if you have access to private trackers, usenet, ddl filehosters (debrid supported)
Just enable excluded filenames like *.exe *.lnk for example. YTS despite being a clone, it still has a decent collection.
major streaming platform like netflix, amazon disny etc, are using drm. you may experience limited video quality on your device. especially older devices will be capped at 720p
yt-dlp and similar tools will stop working, but there is already a temporary solution. The current drm issue with YouTube is limited to the app on TVs and consoles, web browsing (windows, linux) is unaffected
The exe is clean and it’s English, but you can use the 2024 versions of yt-dlp by using --allow-u to download drm protected videos
Then use mp4decrypt to decrypt the files https://www.bento4.com/documentation/mp4decrypt/
it’s drm protected and you need keys to decrypt. I already have these two extensions and it’s working.

https://github.com/nilaoda/N_m3u8DL-RE (downloader and use the keys to decrypt the file)
example mpd “https://vodnowusoawsdash-cf.tvnow.de/pgrn/cves/sd/rtlplus/932203/1-1-1d-3-2-1-2.ism/v1.mpd” (the free trial video only gives me SD)
in .mpd, replace 3-2 with 1-1 to get HD (1080p)
the 1080p bluray is on scenenzbs, free to register, free tier 5 downloads per day assuming you already have a usenet provider.
