It might be hard for them to find someone who is both fluent in english AND knows the field well enough to know vegetative electron microscopy is not a thing. Most universities have one general translation help service and science has a lot of field-specific weird terms.

Most places I worked at had showers available for those who cycled a long distance or enjoyed a lunch activity such as running.
The netherlands, a huge cycling country, is also known as a dreary place where it rains more than the sun shines. You just put on a good waterproof outfit and you’re good. Cycling heats you up as well, so as long as you have good clothes I would say its doable up to and including freezing temperatures, depending on the road surface.

From the discussion of the paper it looks like it’s just a correlation. They didn’t check for ac use, time spent outdoors (or uv exposure), activity levels (perhaps heat = less physical activity) etc.
