163·23 days agoUnfortunately not. Even as an IT person I can say I just wanna come home and boot up my games without hassle. Sure alot of things have been done with proton etc but still a massive amount of games don’t work without Soo much dang tweaking. I don’t have time for that especially with a job/being a single parent. I am highly interested in steamos though.
Making porting gog to linux a priority which has by far the smallest market share for computer gaming is the dumbest thing anyone in this thread is saying, where is that financially a viable option to cater to the tiniest percentage of gamers for gog? I know ill get downvoted but im tired of the fanatical linux posts on lemmy at this point. Get with reality they are going to work on the client where the money is most predominantly flowing from and its not linux or mac. Haters gonna hate the truth but its the truth from a business standpoint.

By far most people want to use windows. The people that are loud on here about Linux are the only ones that don’t so thank you for a solution that’s not the constant post saying just install Linux. Its not intuitive for almost all users aside IT people and enthusiasts.
Meanwhile everyone here saying they switching to Linux (which is perfectly fine) have chik-fil-a and McDonald’s accounts probably 🤣😆🤣
Diablo 2 Lord of destruction, Diablo 2 resurrected is sooo much better in many ways I’ll probably never play the og again.
Man so much hate in this thread I’m not about what’s happened at all with the USA but I’ll still protect my family and show them a better way rather than let them rot and die. So many self righteous people thinking they know whats good.
