i used to think this as well (i have never used any facebook apps), but last night something happened that made me question it.
My wife and i were going through a chipotlane that was right next to a Popeye’s. As we were waiting i looked over to popeyes and saw some posters for their new pickle chicken stuff and asked my wife “the fuck is a pickle ‘glaze’?”
she said “i have no idea but i kinda want some fried pickles now.”
literally a few seconds later she opens instagram on her phone and is shown a video of a person making pickle brined chicken.
yes yes it could be a coincidence, but i am a lot less certain of that now.
Avowed ran well for me.
Avowed is UE5 and that ran well for me.
i wouldn’t say discord “spoiled” us by trying to reinvent forums, i’d say it unnecessarily blurred the lines. classic case of feature creep.
The flaw in the analogy is that it assumes that those effects are limited to some companies
no it doesn’t.
it’s an analogy; the author is drawing parallels between them. Obviously Tobacco companies were not “defeated” but they were regulated to hell, and I’m sure the author would say that’s what we need to do with social media too.
i generally agree with the point you are making because Oblivion is my favorite TES game, but I just got done playing Avowed which is pretty good. defintiely not as deep as oblivion in many areas though.
i don’t think they changed the magic system but they did adjust enemy level scaling, which could have been part of your problem.
why would we want to keep fossil fuels alive?
hold your horses armor buddy, they still have a few other elder scrolls games to remake first.
dude follow the link, there’s an official bethesda countdown to the stream.
but how do we know that?
At the very least we know it should release by the end of the month.
how do we know that?
the difference is HP is the actual manufacturer who sets MSRP. I don’t think Kohls manufactures anything, they are just a retailer.

also cities should have public transit anyway. what a massive waste of energy it is to fly people hundreds of feet UP before then even go anywhere.
so nothing to do with being an EV, an import, or anything like that as most people would assume.
“we have a concept of a plan”
which is exactly why they called it a remaster. it was never their intention to remake the game.
Personally I think most of the stuff that went wrong with Starfield were design choices related to space travel and many many planets, which won’t be an issue with TES of Fallout going forward. So if they stay in their lane I don’t see any reason why they can’t keep churning out decent titles in those series, even if they maybe don’t reach the same heights.
