Veep is tough to watch now. Even the zaniest most over-the-top scandals in the show are absolutely tame compared to reality. It’s almost boring to watch. Every episode is, “If this gets out my career is over!” when the exact same thing has since happened with a Republican politician and nobody batted an eye.

And he was never charged or fined or jailed or anything. Really just the perfect criminal romp. Some fun fraud. Light-hearted illegal antics. I want that too.

It’s Kirby!

This is my exact setup. The upgrade from the smart TV was night and day. Apps load instantly and Jellyfin works great. Most importantly the remote is easy to use and can control the TV.

I want to argue with you, but that’s pretty accurate. The only time I’ll admit I’m at fault is if I know who actually screwed up. I’ll say, “My mistake, I’ll get that fixed right away,” then I’ll privately message the real culprit.

But if I know it was me then I’m picking one off this list and kicking the can down the road. I’m the stereotypical lazy and spineless programmer.

I have a good '08 car that I bought with cash 10 years ago for $3000. I got it from a guy who exclusively sells and fixes this model of car. I went back last year to get my car fixed and looked at the cars he was selling. '08s were starting at $5000.

I was hoping for something more like this:

As an American, I support this. Do not come here. Not only to send a monetary message, but because I genuinely don’t feel like tourists are safe. ICE and DHS have gone off the rails, and nobody should risk their lives to visit what little beauty we have left.

I can’t speak for the desktop side, but for my server it’s been running without interruption for years. About once per week I do something stupid and use all available memory, but it hasn’t crashed once. It just runs a bit slow until I free up some RAM, then Docker comes back to life once I free up some disk space. I definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a server OS that just works.
