My fridge is 20 years old and going strong. 21 in August.
I specifically bought an A rated one at the time. I’d say the savings are enormous given the awful electricity prices where I live.
Name and shame!
That’s exactly what you get when you don’t punch the bully back. Russia broke the well defined post WW2 rule. It was a pretty simple rule too… Don’t try to rob your neighbour’s land.
They should not be rewarded in any way for it. If anything they already have been.
Not being preachy…If you’re taking the first exit (turning right essentially if you drive on the right or turning left of you drive on the left) you should be indicating as you enter. It allows traffic from other lanes to enter the roundabout without stopping to figure out where you’re going.
100% the same. I never even think about it. It’s just baked into my brain.
The only time I don’t is leaving my driveway. We’re corner house on a quiet cul-de-sac so it just doesn’t occur to me.
People leaving roundabouts on the first exit who don’t indicate before entering are the ones that annoy me most. They will watch me waiting to enter or slow down to stop as they approach and literally not lift a finger to help.
Roundabout = indicator you donkey. There’s literally no legal way to use one without it (here anyway).
What are the noise levels like? From the article it sounds like we have the space but the video on that page does sound quite noisy.
I accept that 100%. I’ve seen a decent bit the US and it’s such an enormous lump of land with so many different people and cultures that anyone trying to lump them together into some homogenous mass is off their rocker.
Sure you can travel an hour on a train in Europe and be in a totally different world culturally. The distance for those changes is bigger in the US but holy moly do they exist.
I’m only across the water in Ireland and I can tell you from experience that ambulances arrive quickly, are free and so is the treatment. The UK health system is measurably better than ours so I feel like this is plucked from somewhere that the sun doesn’t shine.
Very first thought was “surely that’s treason”.
I must look up the legal definition.
“Even if the U.S. continues to impose higher tariffs, it will no longer make economic sense and will become a joke in the history of world economy,” the ministry said in a statement,
Very concisely put. We’re at that point. Trade is effectively shut down at this point between the two. My limited understanding is that on the US side this will hit farmers the hardest.
Guess we’re going to see a flood of cheap Chinese stuff in every other market in the world too soon.
Spot on.
It’s in Ireland. A place called Drogheda. Pronounced dro-hed-a. The g is silent in Irish. Or if you’re from there it’s… Drawwww da :) The accent there has a very soft drawl.
No mention of motivation. I don’t understand why anyone would choose a random person to just utterly destroy like that. Like even though he’s been found innocent can you imagine the horror of being told you were accused of that?
Anyone read more elsewhere?
Check if there’s a local Facebook page. I don’t use it myself but my daughter lost her phone recently and my wife had someone contact her before she even realised it was gone.
Is that house arrest?
Thank you.
Could someone tell me how she was able to walk out of the court having been sentenced to prison?

I’ve been reading bedtime stories nightly for 23 years now and I’ve a good six or so left before I’m out.
If you want to try again in the future I would gently suggest listening to a few audio books from really good narrators. It upped my game quite a bit.
Also, even for an adult, Charlotte’s Web. Incredible story. Easily my favourite of all time to read to others and gripping from page one. Think I’ve done it seven times now. God damn I love that book so much.
