Also, I’ve never sewn but I knit sometimes, and crafting takes a lot of time and energy, especially for pieces of clothing that cover more than a head, hand, or foot… It’s a lot to ask a kid to appreciate that, but it still feels like a slap in the face to have something you’ve poured so much effort and time and love into be treated like that.
