Would you say “hurling firebombs in Tianamen Square is not political protest”? Non violence is usually better but it’s still false.

Green flags: a technology that is actually novel or useful. Monero is wonderful for privacy. Nano is great for microtransactions (see NanoGPT). Ethereum is great for smart contracts. Stablecoins are a good currency replacement in hyperinflation countries where there’s no better alternative. Crypto is a fantastic advancement of finance technology. Please don’t see them (all) as scams. I would argue don’t see them as investments at all.

I think we can be for sure, religious skeptic is an equally ridiculous term. It’s like saying I’m a teacup-around-Saturn skeptic. In any reasonable meaning of the word “certain”, “truth”, or “sure”, the teacup and any deity do not exist nor play any role in our lives. They deserve no consideration except for niche discussions in philosophy and epistemology. We should use the teacup example even in that case, not the deity one.

Why do you think the article is upset at Vance? He should have said “We borrow money from them to buy the things they manufacture.” Mentioning ethnicity or the word peasant is clearly racist. Even if he wanted to drive it home, he could have said “We borrow money from these victims of slavery…” but it wouldn’t have made any sense of course that way. It was racist.
