Bro, how do people get to this point‽ I fell into a fair sized windfall and laid on the couch for almost a year smoking and drinking myself into a stupor every night. And I never got even close to this!
Trucking is so bad for you. I did a couple of years and gained more weight than I care to mention. You sit in that seat for 16 hours a day. You tell yourself you’re going to eat healthy and exercise, but by the time you shut down for the night you’re exhausted. You eat a shitty carb heavy meal and sleep on it. Then you do it again.
Really we need to let truckers do uppers again. This drug free attitude we’ve adopted just isn’t healthy! JK about that last part. Kinda
After the first year you are just getting started, you will need decades of commitment and sacrifice and you’ll have to leave Debrah by the side of the road before you get there.
A year isn’t even enough time to give yourself proper liver disease, unless it’s acute. But then you have a better chance of straight up dying from alcohol poisoning or DUI.
There’s this line in that new show I watched. The guy just gets dumped by his wife, goes like: « He needed to sit a minute…. He sat down 20 years »
The scene hit like a brick
Can I be real with you for a little? I got broken up with by the girl that got me to start working again. The moment I got into okish shape, she dipped. The ones I have met via the apps, have asked me to get back to my old self.
I didn’t know what that means, but I am far from someone who needs advice(even though I do need to lose a few inches from my waistline). But I don’t need to be reminded! I do a good enough job of insulting myself.
How old are you, or were you? Not saying there are no younger people who pack on weight, I’ve just found it’s harder to stay in shape as I get older. And if you’re not trying at all, this can happen to anyone. Course you his guy may have always been like that.

This type of shit makes me lose weight by laughing.
It’s also indicative of extreme liver damage
I mean, my doctor told me mine was bigger than normal. But I didn’t look anything even close to homie
Because you didn’t have extreme liver damage

Sorry about what you’re going through 🫂
From what I understand you avoided the worst of it, and for that you can be proud. It’s not an easy road.
The clip wasn’t meant as a reference to your life, but to other people who get stuck in a moment for decades.
It’s all good. It would be better if I hadn’t lost all the progress I made on my health. But it is getting better.
Amateur
Lol!
Bring it!
I’ve been on my couch for close to a year. What you got?

But that picture is real. And I’ll say it “this specific person deserves to be judged!”
Shit, I am judging them…
Thanks for making me figure it out for myself.
Was 22 when I first got into shape, currently almost fifty and don’t judge anyone who has the ability to stick they chin out further than their belly.
You weren’t as committed.
Fuck me. Kinda glad I got back into social circles, let’s call it socialism.
